Applicant privacy

How your interview recording is handled.

BNI Tampa Bay uses your recording only to review your membership application and operate that application process.

What this platform collects

Your video and audio answers, your name and email, the chapter connected to your application, and limited security and delivery records needed to keep the interview reliable.

Payment-card, billing, address, sponsor, and membership-vote details are not sent to this interview platform.

Who can view it

Access is limited to authorized BNI Tampa Bay membership reviewers and regional administrators assigned to the application. Private viewing links expire and are tied to an identified reviewer.

How it is protected

Recordings are uploaded directly to private, encrypted BNI-controlled storage. They are malware-scanned, compiled into one interview video, and played through short-lived private links. The platform does not use facial recognition, voice recognition, or AI scoring.

When it is deleted

When an application is rejected, withdrawn, or made inactive, access is revoked and platform media is scheduled for deletion 15 days later. For an approved member, deletion is not scheduled until a verified archive copy exists; the platform copy is then deleted 15 days after that verification.

After final platform media deletion, the interview service removes active access records and replaces the applicant’s name and email with non-identifying placeholders. Limited application and security audit records remain so BNI can prove the deletion and resolve operational issues.

Questions or help

Use the interview help guide or the support contact shown in your membership application. If you need a fresh interview link, return to your application and choose Continue interview.
